Hello, friends! 

Because spring is finally here, on Saturday I took my camera to the park. There, I came across some friends of mine and Ama. You might be wondering who Ama is. Well, she is a one and a half year old golden retriever, who lives with two of my friends in Bucharest. She is very friendly and very beautiful.

The sun was shining, the grass was green, Ama was playing all over the place. So I took out my camera and shot some pictures. You can see some of them at the end of this article.

I’ve never had a dog. I’ve always wanted one, but the circumstances were never right, even though I have a house and a garden in Targoviste.

I read something interesting the other day: “Ask not what you can do for your dog, ask what your dog can do for you!” It got me thinking. I think I’d like him/her to do his best to please me and keep me smiling, to curl up with me when I am feeling down or need some serious relaxation. He won't hold my mistakes against me, or prejudge me for my faults or lack of know-how (like some people do). He'll forgive me for all of my mistakes, and never hold them against me later. Sleeping at my feet and loving to please me, he will enjoy just spending time with me. He'll do his best to protect me, because I will be his master. How cool would that be?

Maybe I will get one someday - and if I do, be sure that I’ll keep you posted with pictures and articles.

As for Ama, I would like to thank her and her owner for opening my mind about this.
