Spring flowers
April 18, 2013
As the spring finally came to our little town, I pulled out my camera and started shooting in the garden.
My garden has always been very colorful in the springtime, full of flowers and other amazing things to photograph.
My grandfather always used to go out about this time of the year and plant flowers, trim the bushes, chop the roses and much more. He loved it, all of it: the blue sky, the chilly wind, the rebirth of nature, the energy burst felt in the air.
I guess everybody feels it, some more than others. It kind of gives you the sense of starting over, a fresh start for your life and your mind.
There’s a verse that pops into my mind right now. It’s from the song “Chasing Cars”, by Snow Patrol.
“Forget what we're told / Before we get too old / Show me a garden / That's bursting into life.“
My garden is bursting into life right now and I don’t want to sound like a well-known advert, but “I’m loving it.”
Below are the shots I was telling you about. They will also be added to the Flowers Album in the Portfolio page.
Goodbye for now, and I wish you a colorful spring!
